August 5, 2013

Advantech recently announced the release of the 32-inch UTC-532 Interactive Self-Service and Signage Terminal, with targeted applications in hospitals, health care, education and entertainment environments.

Powered by an Intel Core i7 Processor, the interactive display features anti-reflective, anti-glare and anti-smudge coatings as well as options for multitouch and Corning Gorilla toughened glass. The company said the display is highly customizable, with grooved edges that allow for easy peripheral attachments in kiosk, self-service and other interactive signage display applications.

Other customizable features include high-brightness LCD (up to 1000 cd/m2) with wide, 89o-degree view and optical bonding, Wi-Fi, WLAN and media capture options, according to the release. The company expects the UTC-532 to be available in September.
