Advantech, IAdea partner on signage solution

MILPITAS, Calif. — Advantech and IAdea Corp. announced a partnership to introduce the Advantech-Adfotain Central digital signage management platform.

The partnership unites Advantech's DSA-2100A series digital signage player with IAdea's Adfotain Central Web-based services. The Advantech-Adfotain platform is a full-featured dedicated digital signage system which is designed to support a scalable digital signage network. DSA-2100A is a dedicated digital signage player with optional signage software that allows quick and simple integration with its plug-and-play capability. The DSA-2100A supports high-definition video in a multi-zone display layout plus graphics and scrollable text. This industrial-grade signage system provides multi-zone presentation with video, audio, graphics and text; network connectivity via Ethernet or WLAN through HTTP and DHCP; and a compact, rugged construction with built-in hard drive and fan-less design. The Adfotain Central Web-based signage service features large-scale group management functions, device health monitoring, hierarchical channel scheduling management, global time zone management and remote maintenance (e.g., hard-disk format, power cycle) functions. Adfotain Central allows remote management via a Web browser crossing firewalls and private networks.
