Advanced recently partnered with BenQ to distribute its Google Jamboard collaboration device to Canadian schools and corporate offices. The solution is a 55-inch, 4K interactive display, which allows users to draw with a stylus, according to a press release.
The solution is designed to replace whiteboards by allowing users to import and save content. They can write on it with a stylus and erase with their finger or a regular eraser. It also features G-Suit, which allows users to access the board through touch, mobile app or additional Jamboards.
"Basic whiteboards are used in schools and offices everywhere, but whiteboards don’t store progress. They don't bring the entire classroom, or team, into the conversation," Mark McPherson, executive vice president, Advanced, said in the release. "Jamboard brings whiteboards into the future with cloud storage, real-time collaboration tools like those in G Suite, as well as access to the endless information available through Google Search. It makes collaboration easier and more productive than ever before."
