Ad Council's PSACasting to go live at Digital Signage Expo

February 2, 2010

Digital Signage Expo (DSE) will be the forum in which the Ad Council's new PSACasting initiative will go live. The event will take place on Wednesday, Feb. 24, in Las Vegas.

The Ad Council, the nation's leading provider of public service advertisements (PSAs) since 1942, has been addressing critical social issues for generations of Americans. Together with The MediaTile Company, a provider of cellular digital signage and software, PSAs are now available to the digital signage industry. PSACasting makes it easy to browse, preview and download current Ad Council materials, including Haiti relief PSAs, to digital signage networks.

"We are thrilled that the Ad Council has recognized the importance of digital out-of-home networks as a viable medium," said Chris Gibbs, president of ExpoNation LLC, which produces DSE. "Digital Signage Expo has become the nexus for our industry, making it the ideal environment from which to launch important initiatives such as PSACasting."

"The PSACasting Project makes it possible for large network operators, corporate communicators and the thousands of independent networks to easily obtain and place public service advertisements into their programming schedules and onto digital signs," said Simon Wilson, CEO of The MediaTile Company said.
