ActiveSource calls for entries for 2006 DIGI Awards

SEATTLE — ActiveSource, the digital signage services division of ActiveLight Inc., announced in a news release a call for entries for the second annual DIGI Awards.
The 2006 DIGI Awards are open to all digital signage installations completed in 2005. Winners in each of ten categories will receive a $1,000 cash card, a trophy in recognition of their achievement, as well as a graphic suitable for use in promotional materials. Entry forms and information are available at www.activesource.com/digiawards. All entries must be submitted online by midnight PST, Jan. 13, 2006.
"Last year's DIGI Awards were very successful in drawing deserved attention to exceptional installations as well as to digital signage as a whole," said Scott Stanton, director, technical services for ActiveSource. "At ActiveSource we work hard to encourage and support excellence in digital signage every day, and the DIGI Awards are a great way for us to reward the teams that are getting it right."
The 2006 awards will feature winners in four categories: Excellence in Technology (three winners), Excellence in Creativity (three winners), Excellence in Innovation (three winners), and Judges' Choice (one winner). All partners including those involved in the software, content, fixture and hardware of the winning installations will receive a certificate in recognition of their contribution.
Award winners will be announced during NSCA's Systems Integration Expo in Las Vegas, March 16-18, 2006. Sponsors for the 2006 DIGI Awards include ActiveSource and Digital Signage Quarterly magazine.
