Absen crafts interactive training center for Russian oil exposition

November 13, 2019

Lukoil, a Russian-based oil company, recently partnered with Ascreen to create an interactive training center at its VDNKh exhibition center in Moscow. Asreen in turn selected Absen Inc. to provide LED, VR, AR, projection and holographic technology to tell the story of the oil industry and its production cycle, according to a press release.

Lukoil selected Absen's Acclaim A27 series of displays for the center, which can act as video walls for retail, corporate and control room environments. The company deployed four Absen A2712 video walls in its Humankind and Oil, Technologies and Science hall, which included:

  • A 3.1 by 3.8-meter LED display with a pixel pitch of 1.2-milimeter pixel pitch and a 22 LED panel display in the Humankind and Oil hall.
  • A 3-by-7 configuration display in the Technologies hall.
  • A display consisting of 53 LED panels in the Science hall.

"Having visited the new Oil Pavilion, I was very impressed with the exhibition and it really delivers the wow-factor!" Jackie Gao, sales manager of the CIS market, Absen, said in the release. "Ascreen did a fantastic job at designing an AV solution that expertly integrates the different technologies and we are proud that Absen LED played a starring role."
