5 Almo Pro AV leaders recognized for excellence

Almo Pro AV, a North American Pro AV distributor, has announced that CRN, a brand of The Channel Company, has recognized five of its leaders on the 2026 Women of the Channel list, including two who have earned this distinction for the second consecutive year.

The annual CRN list celebrates women from vendors, distributors, solution providers and other channel-focused organizations who make a positive difference in the IT ecosystem, according to a press release.

Almo Pro AV honorees include:

  • (Second consecutive year) Karen Castaño, vice president of hospitality: Under her leadership, the hospitality division is expanding Almo Pro AV's market presence while strengthening end-to-end support for resellers, integrators, and hospitality customers nationwide. Previously director of the National Business Team, Castaño has a proven track record of building high-performing teams and deepening partner relationships.
  • (Second consecutive year) Amanda Mecutchen, director of customer marketing: Mecutchen is a results-driven marketing leader with more than a decade of experience in distribution. Her success is rooted in strong vendor partnerships and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Taukia O'Donnell, director of bid operations and project management: O'Donnell was recognized for her leadership and culture-building.
  • Gisela Ramirez, Southeast territory sales manager: Ramirez is known for building strong partner relationships, driving strategic growth, and aligning teams for high performance. She is focused on supporting integrators and end users with scalable solutions and consistent follow-through.
  • Kristi Valente, director of commercial excellence and operations - NA, Nexora: An experienced Salesforce administrator, she oversees platform architecture, governance, analytics, automation and security.
