Yorktel partners with Department 60 to add cloud-based digital signage to its offerings

Yorktel, a cloud and video managed services company, has partnered with Department 60 to offer its cloud-based digital signage service called Visualz to customers. Visualz is designed to transform a display device into digital signage for a monthly fee without needing additional hardware or software, according to a press release by Yorktel.

Visualz is designed with a cloud-based infrastructure to allow companies to push information to displays. Companies can manage all content remotely, and can create emergency override messages, according to a press release by Department 60.

"At Yorktel, our strength is making the complicated simple," Mark Maxey, executive vice president of media services, Yorktel, said in the release. "Department 60 has managed to do the same with digital signage. Visualz is a natural fit for our clients, who are looking for solutions that are intuitive, cost effective, and don't require extensive training or design expertise."
