Peerless-AV announces line of UltraView Outdoor TVs

Peerless-AV, a manufacturer of audio and video solutions and accessories, has announced a new line of all-season TVs, the UltraView Outdoor TVs, for outdoor home entertainment and living, according to a company press release. The UltraView TVs are waterproof and maintenance-free.

Available in 49-, 55- or 65-inch sizes, the TVs are equipped with an LED backlight to provide a full HD 1080p resolution for bright and crisp visuals. The UltraView TVs also come with an IP68-rated waterproof and dustproof universal remote that can be programmed to control up to three additional devices, the release stated.

"With warmer weather upon us, we are thrilled to offer a new line of solutions ideal for homeowners looking to enhance their outdoor living at a fraction of the cost of some other outdoor displays on the market," said Todd Mares, director of emerging technologies, Peerless-AV. "It's a common misconception that indoor TVs can be used for outdoor viewing, but lacking screen brightness and a durable build, they cannot withstand extreme temperatures and conditions. The UltraView line provides customers with reasonably priced, quality options."

The UltraViev TVs are functional for all seasons, built with weatherproof internal speakers and the ability to operate at a range of -24°F to 122°F. Due to a fully sealed design, there is no need to change filters or service the TV. Installation of the UltraView TVs is best suited for shaded outdoor areas and out of direct sunlight.

The 49- and 55-inch UltraView TVs are available now through Peerless-AV direct sales representatives and authorized distribution networks. The 65-inch UltraView TV will be available in July.
