Information displays come in a variety of forms, such as LCD displays and projectors. One particular type of display device that has been attracting attention recently for its ability to present information in unique ways is the transparent display. It consists of a conventional LCD panel with the backlight unit removed so that it acts like a glass panel on which graphic content, such as text, images or video, appears superimposed.
