As part of the 2009 Fourth of July celebration, the National Park Service made the decision to reopen the crown on the Statue of Liberty. However, with only days to go before the holiday, a digital signage solution was needed. The National Park Service turned to Samsung, who provided an all-in-one product that offered digital signage throughout the area. Samsung's product included:

  • An LED-backlit LCD screen
  • A weatherproof, temperature-controlled enclosure

The solution was able to be implemented quickly and worked immediately, ensuring a successful celebration.
