Although not specifically geared toward digital signage, author Daniel Pink (A Whole New Mind) gives some advice on creating emotionally charged signage, and how to design content to resonate with customers. It should no doubt help those in the digital signage industry take a closer look at the actual message they are putting on their screens.

To help explain, he uses the pecha kucha method od presenting, where the speaker uses 20 slides and spends 20 seconds on each slide.
