Plug-and Play Digital Signage Systems

Solutions include complete, already-integrated, customized plug-and-play systems such as Vitrine™, which can be provided as an elegant stand-alone or wall-mounted multi-display unit with up to six TFT LCDs for indoor advertising or customer information.

Vitrine utilizes Apollo’s Windows-based ArtistaControlCenter™ software (available separately) in conjunction with Apollo’s ArtistaUSB™ or ArtistaNET™ (LAN) controllers to make it easy to use and program from any standard PC. Apollo offers enclosures for Vitrine in standard designs available for immediate delivery. In addition, we offer custom enclosures to hold practically any number of screens of one or more sizes for Vitrine or virtually any indoor digital signage system.

The Artista Concept

Apollo’s Artista™ is a patented innovative concept for TFT display control without Client-PC (means low power consumption = Green product, no SWUpdate, no IT administration after installation). With Artista, one single central Host-PC is able to control almost any number of displays via LAN or USB. Artista is available for displaying images (JPEG, TIFF, etc.) and videos (from 1.Q 2008) for resolutions of VGA (640 x 480) to WUXGA (full HD, 1920 x 1080). With Artista, topologies of different sizes with centralized or decentralized control can be achieved. Artista considerably reduces investment and operating cost of monitors.

Artista-based installations can vary from a handful to hundreds of displays of any size and resolution. Artista controllers enable easy display installation by simply connecting the controller to the network, with all application software installed on a central server, allowing a virtually unlimited number of displays to be addressed from on single server.

New: ArtistaMEDIA

Apollo’s new ArtistaMEDIA™ single-board network media player provides an unlimited number of media-stations for download of MPEG2/4 files at one PC/Host/MediaControlBox. It is the third and newest member of Apollo’s Artista™ family of controllers. While ArtistaNET and ArtistaUSB are specialized to attach TFT LCD displays to the Ethernet or an USB-bus without a client PC for the display of static images, ArtistaMEDIA adds video playing capabilities in MPEG/2 or MPEG/4 format from Compact Flash card or hard disk drive. Videos can be loaded or updated via Ethernet or USB.

Artista Controllers & Software

ARTISTACONTROLCENTERLITE software works in conjunction with Apollo’s patented ArtistaNET™ or ArtistaUSB™ display controllers to control multiple displays simultaneously displaying similar or different content with just one user PC via connection to a LAN or USB interface. Client PCs that have traditionally been necessary at each monitor for display control are now redundant, which reduces total cost and simplifies installation.
