Simple Digital Signage Messaging
Omnivex WebPad 2 is an Internet Browser extension of Omnivex DataPipe 3. Omnivex WebPad 2 works with Microsoft Internet Explorer and Omnivex DataPipe 3 to allow Users to create, manage and post unique messages directly to a DataPipe Server. An advantage to Omnivex WebPad 2 is that no proprietary software needs to be loaded onto each user's PC, so any designated person can update messages from anywhere at any time.
Omnivex WebPad 2 Server is installed on a single, host computer, and accessed via independent computers using a Web Browser. Users can create or edit text messages that are posted to Omnivex DataPipe 3. Individual rights can be assigned to each user and/or message to flag specific combinations for editorial approval before posting, so your network is secure. These messages can then be linked to any appropriate Omnivex content management application to be displayed or used to trigger content to appear. 
E-mail notifications, automatic message expiration, activity logs and logon options are all supported. Omnivex WebPad is the perfect extension to allow your staff or your customers to upload messages to one or one hundred displays instantly and securely with no additional administrative work.
Web-based utility Works with Internet Explorer so that you can update messages in your DataPipe Server at any time from any location.
Customize permissions Individual permissions are assigned to each user and/or message so that content is edited before being published to your digital signage network. Three separate permission levels enable you to customize the user permissions as needed for your user group.
Update content Message updates can be linked to other Omnivex applications for display on your digital signage network, or they can be used to trigger other events, changing your content remotely.
Report Notification of message changes, automatic message expiration, activity logs and log-on options are supported.
