CastNET NewsJET
NewsJET is an optional services that enhaces the timeliness and value of your CastNET digital signage system. The NewsJET service is automatically delivered multiple times a day to CastNET content channels, and is offered with four different services that can be ordered separately or packaged with any combination of services.
News
News service updates are provided throughout the day by the Associated Press. The news service includes multiple categories, such as: World News, DC News, National News, Trivia, Strange News, Sports, and others. NewsJET gives you the option of choosing which categories you would like to display.
Weather Data
The weather data service provides the local weather forecast, accurate to within 10 miles of the provided zip code. NewJET provides the option of choosing today’s forecast, a 2-day forecast, or a 3-day forecast. All forecasts include weather graphic icons. Weather data is automatically formatted and placed within a designated template on your displays.
Weather Maps
The weather maps service delivers satellite style weather maps multiple times a day. Maps can be inserted into an information zone or displayed full screen using a CastNET template.
Stocks
The NewsJET stocks service provides publicly traded stocks and indices and displays them in a digital ticker tape format on your display. The Dow index is not included, but is available as a separate option.
