ViewSonic Corp., a global provider of computing, consumer electronics and communications solutions, today announced the launch of its new line of commercial LED displays, the CDP series, at this year's Digital Signage Expo in Las Vegas. Designed with a slim bezel, LED energy-saving panel technology and rich connectivity options, the CDP series is designed to be ideal for multidisplay installations and video walls in retail, hospitality, corporate, government and education environments, the company said.
"Today's digital signage industry is tasked with keeping pace with market demand for the newest, up-to-date display technology," said Gene Ornstead, ViewSonic director of product marketing, in the announcement. "The CDP series is leading the way, delivering improved functionality and performance for always-on public display advertisements, durable menu boards and complex video walls."
Available in 42- and 55-inch sizes, the CDP4260-L and the CDP5560-L boast a slim bezel design and connectivity options including HDMI, DisplayPort, DVI, D-Sub, YPbPr and CVBS inputs for easy installation and control of a variety of high-definition devices. The narrow symmetrical bezel allows for multiple display tiling in portrait or landscape orientation. Featuring a lifespan of up to 50,000 hours, the CDP4260-L and the CDP5560-L are built for reliable, continuous 24/7 use, the company said. The CDP series is also ENERGY STAR 6.0 certified, utilizing an energy-saving LED backlight that consumes 35 percent less power than conventional CCFL backlight displays. The series also combines full-HD 1080 resolution and SuperClear wide viewing-angle technology.
The CDP4260-L and the CDP5560-L are available in North America and Latin America. The U.S. MSRP range is $1,399-$2,450.
