Cloud-based digital signage solution provider digbil has become a member of the Amazon Web Services Partner Network as a Standard Technology Partner, the company announced. APN is a global program offering solution providers technical guidance as well as sales and marketing support to enhance their product offerings on AWS.

The digbil solution is designed to enable quick-service restaurant operators to administer digital menu boards and digital signage through an intuitive Web portal, the company said. "Operators can schedule and deploy content to a store next door or anywhere around the world from any place with an Internet connection and a Web browser," digbil VP of Marketing Manuel Edghill said in the announcement.

Built from inception to run on AWS's global, secure architecture, digbil leverages several AWS technologies including Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud, Amazon Simple Storage Service and Amazon CloudFront to provide an entirely cloud-based digital signage management platform.

"AWS enables us to quickly and easily scale our solution from one store to thousands, from one city to around the globe," Edghill said. "Our cloud-based solution is a key differentiator for our customers who previously had to rely on expensive, burdensome client-server architectures when selecting a digital signage platform."
