McDonald's rolls out gesture-controlled digital games for kids

According to AVInteractive.com, quick-service behemoth McDonald's has deployed gesture-controlled digital signage technology into more than 150 of its key restaurants to create the "Happy Meal Digital Play" concept — a series of movement-activated, interactive floor media games linked to Happy Meal promotions.

The system, supplied by Paradigm AV, includes emitters projecting straight onto the tiled floor, creating an immersive environment with which customers can engage.
