Matrox graphic cards deployed on jaw-dropping video wall

Dec. 19, 2011

Matrox Graphics, a manufacturer of graphics solutions, announced it has been selected by digital media solution experts YCD Multimedia to assist with a new video wall deployment at the headquarters for Red Venture. YCD selected Matrox M9140 multi-display graphics cards to drive a 12-monitor video wall at Red Venture's South Carolina headquarters.

Matrox said YCD used three M9140 quad-monitor boards within its MuVi Wall video wall system to drive the 12 monitors, all from a single computer.

According to the announcment, Red Ventures, a sales and marketing firm, wanted to install an engaging multi-monitor platform and contacted YCD to leverage their digital signage expertise. YCD responded with its new MuVi Wall system that can show multimedia content across 12 monitors. Within the video wall solution are three Matrox M9140 low-profile PCI Express (PCIe) x16 quad-monitor graphics cards to output a 3x4 setup

"The video wall is the jaw-dropper in our new 90,000 square-foot space," said Kylie Craig, director of corporate communications for Red Ventures. "With 12 screens, rotating images, videos, and messages 24/7, every guest who walks through our door is blown away."

Matrox Graphics is headquartered in Montreal, Canada.
