King Subz chowing down on digital menu boards

Mirada Media recently announced the deployment of a three-screen digital menu board and dining area digital signage promotional board for Montreal quick-service restaurant KingSubz.

King Subz gives its patrons the ability to dream up their own custom sandwich creations with a multitude of meats, breads, toppings and King Subz signature sauces, and part of that approach brings in digital signage. Using Mirada Media's MenuView software, KingSubz is able to fine-tune their concept and offering by testing different layouts, products and acting on customer feedback — allowing KingSubz to keep its patrons happy and its bottom-line comfortably in the black, according to Mirada Media.

KingSubz also wanted its digital menu boards to integrate animated graphics. The restaurant's "Create Your Own Sandwich" concept is new to clients, so they wanted to be able to "tell a story" on their boards and instruct their patrons. Modifying prices and updating their Signature Subz (set sandwich creations for patrons who aren't in the creative mood) is also possible from day-to-day, at different hours of the day or at different locations.
