E.U.-based specialist developer of outdoor LCD systems Infinitus announced the launch of its sixth generation of high-performance full-outdoor technology, which will replace the company's current imotion full-outdoor product line.
The product launch will take place at the ISE 2014 exhibition in Amsterdam in February. Visitors will be able to see touch interactive imotion G6 47-inch portrait single-side and imotion G6 72-inch portrait double-side displays, intended for DOOH advertising.
This new product line builds on the thermal management trait of constant inner enclosure temperatures between 20° C and 25° C (68° F and 77° F), delivering 100-percent up to 110-percent luminance output of integrated LCD panels at all times, the company said, even when the outdoor ambient temperature gets up to 55° C (131° F).
The imotion systems come with a three-year 24/7/365 operation full warranty that can be further extended for more than five years, the company said.
The changes from the previous imotion product line are mostly noticeable in its appearance, the company said, as new systems have smaller bezels (70 mm), minimized LCD-to-glass distances (12mm) and refreshed mask designs. These improvements will have an effect on improved readability in all conditions, touchscreen user experience and the attractiveness of multimedia displays, the company said. The imotion G6 free-standing systems come in landscape and portrait orientations, in single- and double-side alternatives and in LCD sizes of 47, 55, 65 and 72 inches.
Integrators and customers will have a variety of add-on, upgrade and accessories options, the company said, including touchscreen, camera, ambient light sensor, additional PC, side touch monitor, Wi-Fi, 3G, UPS, ticket printer, NFC reader and new alternatives such as a glass-break sensor, shock sensor, proof of play, proximity sensor, barcode reader, speakers, microphone, AED compartment and gesture control.
