Horizon Display starts reseller program to attract more integrators to digital signage

According to CommercialIntegrator.com, Horizon Display's new Partner Reseller Program will help out A/V and IT integrators who are looking for an entrée into the fast-growing digital signage sector but aren't sure where to start.

Horizon Display says it is the first company with an emphasis on touchscreen displays to have this kind of offering, which "will boost sales opportunities for installers still timid about moving forward on digital signage."

"We're already selling to their customers," marketing manager Stephen Gladden said in the article. "We want to train them on the initial questions they'll get from end users. The whole idea is to help them move the needle so they can stand out by having something different to offer."

The Partner Reseller Program will launch with four pricing tiers, ranging from standard (5 percent off MSRP and no quarterly sales minimum) to strategic partnerships (13 percent discount at $35,000 in quarterly sales). Registered partners can get 8 percent off MSRP with $15,000 in quarterly sales, while advanced partners will see a 10 percent discount with $25,000 in quarterly sales.


All accredited resellers will begin at the registered level for at least 90 days, and to become accredited potential partners will have to send resellers to a one-day session and pass a test that proves they understand the products. Partners must then participate in follow-up sessions (which can be done online) every 60 days.
