Denver-based Engrain, a provider of virtual tour and resident interaction systems, announced that Elo Touch Solutions, the preferred hardware vendor for the company's TouchTour systems, is now providing expanded support for the company and will soon release a series of thinner, brighter and more powerful touch panels, according to a news release.
"Our already-strong business relationship with Elo has gone to new levels in recent weeks," Audrey Bolema, marketing and business development director at Engrain, said in the announcement. "Members of their management team have flown to Denver twice in the last month to meet with our team. We walked away from the meetings impressed with Elo's genuine desire to provide the most effective support possible. This includes a quick two-day turn in the rare case of hardware needing to be replaced. We are excited to have grown our relationship with Elo and to be able to pass the benefits of our collaboration along to our valued clients. With this relationship, we can provide a turnkey solution."
TouchTour units, which are large (42- to 70-inch) multitouch panels, were first used by multifamily sales and leasing offices to provide in-depth virtual property tours, local area information and other services. The system is now being utilized in other markets as well, such as single-family real estate and higher-education housing. When not in use by prospective or current residents, TouchTour screens display community messaging.
