Digital interactive kiosk developer Elevate Digital has received $3 million in funding from SFX Entertainment, a producer of live music events and digital entertainment content.
SFX says it will use Elevate Digital's kiosk screens at events to create an interactive digital experience for music fans. "The digital age offers exciting new ways to enhance the festival experience for the millions of fans attending our events," Robert Sillerman, SFX Entertainment's chairman and CEO, said in a statement. "The Elevate kiosks will provide a way for fans to share everything from photographs to music to other surprises with their friends everywhere."
SFX intends to roll out Elevate's kiosks to concert venues in up to 30 markets, reports Crain's Chicago Business.
Elevate Digital says it combines interactive software applications and connective advertising with mobile and social integration to enable advertisers to engage with their audience. Its interactive displays have, on average, more than six hours of consumer interactivity per day per unit, the company said.
"Our mission is to create a platform that allows advertisers and content producers to connect with consumers through an engaging digital interface at the street level," George Burciaga, Elevate Digital's CEO and founder, said in a statement. "SFX's investment will allow us to roll out our technology in new markets, especially internationally."
The new investment takes elevate DIGITAL's series A total fund raising to $7.2 million. In October 2013, Elevate Digital received $1.5 million from Partners Path Investments.
