Digital Signage Expo, the international trade show and conference dedicated to digital signage, interactive technology and digital out-of-home networks, today announced that its Tuesday, Feb. 11, pre-show program will feature a brand new educational opportunity created for design professionals.
The Dynamic Digital Environments Master Class is a full-day program that will take a look at innovative case studies and information essential to architects, designers and art directors, and the integrators, fabricators and manufacturers who work as a unified team to create informative and media-rich environments for retail, entertainment, airports, hospitals, office buildings, sports facilities, urban environments and museum venues, show organizers said in an announcement.
The five modules to be presented include an overview, group discussion and case studies:
- A worldwide projects overview;
- The new LAX Bradley International Terminal and its Integrated Environment Media System;
- The Gensler LA Lobby Project – A multisurface experience;
- Montreal's Luminous Pathway of the Quartier des Spectacles; and
- A group discussion led by Susan Szenasy, editor of Metropolis Magazine.
Richard Lebovitz, editorial director for ExpoNation, which produces DSE, said in the announcement, "Digital signage is now being used as a dynamic element in interior design and architecture, which makes it possible to enhance the consumer experience and engage visitors in a variety of venues. This seminar program provides an in-depth look at just some of the innovative ways in which the medium is being employed."
DSE is a registered continuing education provider for the American Institute of Architects, making attendees at this educational program eligible for AIA continuing education credits. Registration for this or any of DSE's pre-show conferences, or any of the DSE 2014 educational conference seminars, is available online at www.digitalsignageexpo.net.
Digital Signage Expo 2014, co-located with the Digital Content Show, is scheduled for Feb. 11-13, with access to the show's exhibit hall Feb. 12 and 13 at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas.
