Magnetic 3D, a global provider of autostereoscopic or "glasses-free" 3D displays and digital signage solutions, exhibited the next generation of its glasses-free 3D in multiple locations at this year's Digital Signage Expo in Las Vegas.
In partnership with digital signage technology and service provider Dynasign, Magnetic 3D showcased the companies' ability to deploy and manage glasses-free 3D digital-out-of-home content as part of the world's largest international trade show dedicated solely to digital signage, interactive technology and digital out-of-home networks.
In addition to its booth at the show, Magnetic 3D also hosted private showcases for select companies in their Product Demonstration Suite at Caesar's Palace the entire week of the two-day show.
Through a new joint-venture focused on experiential marketing and customer engagement called Kinetik 3D, Magnetic 3D also picked up a DSE Silver Content Award for content created for a Southern Comfort 3D point-of-sale campaign.
Brent Walla, partner at Kinetik 3D, said at the show that part of the excitement at this year's event came from attendees seeing how Magnetic 3D's already impressive autostereoscopic technology has changed from the last time they saw it.
"People who've seen it before are coming back and saying how impressed they are with the improvements, and that's very exciting," he said.
