The Digital Screenmedia Association is hosting an education and networking event Aug. 7 in Chicago.

The event, from 6 to 10 p.m., is on the 99th floor of Willis Tower (formerly known as the Sears Tower), and will include a brief education program on the topic of converging channels to create improved customer experiences. Attendees will hear from restaurant company Lettuce Entertain You, marketing agency TPN and United Airlines. They'll also have the chance to visit the Skydeck and step outside the tallest building in the western hemisphere. At 1,353 feet in the air, the Ledge's glass boxes extend 4.3 feet from Skydeck.

Jared Miller, managing director, self-service and emerging technology for United and the current DSA president will moderate the event, held in the same building that houses United's headquarters.

The Skydeck features digital signage and interactive kiosks deployments, "so all in all, a perfect location for a DSA event," according to DSA Executive Director David Drain.

Registration and tickets for the event can be found here.
