Chamber TV to rebrand, open digital signage megastore in UK

Nov. 30, 2012

Digital signage and digital media production company Chamber TV is changing its name and changing its approach. Beginning in 2013, Chamber TV said it will trade under the name of One Digital Solutions. But first, it's opening what it's calling "the U.K.'s first Digital Signage Hypermarket" in the heart of Birmingham on Dec. 1, 2012. The store will officially launch in January, 2013.

Featuring a selection of outdoor and indoor LED & LCD displays, the 3,000 square foot facility will show off a range of digital menus and posters, POS displays and multi-touch screens. Customers will also be offered cloud-based digital signage and multi-touch software training and demonstrations in a separate "Cloud Room," the company said.

"For the past few years, we have been looking at alternative ways of selling digital signage," said Richard Westhead, Managing Director and Founder of Chamber TV and One Digital Solutions. "We believe that a dedicated hypermarket will not only promote the technology to non-connoisseurs but will also make it very easy to buy. The Digital Signage Hypermarket takes the concept of an 'out-of-the-box digital signage solution' to the next level."

The Digital Signage Hypermarket and One Digital Solutions are joint ventures between Chamber TV and the One group of digital companies, a division of LED and consumer electronic maker Elonex.
