In the wake of the devastation wrought by Hurricane Sandy, digital signage firm ComQi is using the bully pulpit provided by this week's Customer Engagement Technology World show in New York City to demonstrate its support on a large scale, the company said today.
CETW should be the perfect venue to ask attendees face-to-face for a helping hand, the company said. ComQi is showing a three-minute video montage featuring images of Sandy's destruction at its booth, #600 on the show floor.
Above each video monitor is a message from ComQi asking viewers to contribute to the Red Cross through DOOHgood by donating $10 via text message. DOOHgood has been a tremendous aid in hurricane relief efforts, and ComQi said it is taking CETW as an opportunity to take part in their organization.
