Auto parts digital signage network powered by ScreenScape

ScreenScape Networks Inc. today announced it has been chosen by Uni-Select Inc. to power a retail digital signage network that will connect the Uni-Select network of Canadian automotive parts installers and wholesalers.

According to the announcement, Uni-Select is the sixth-largest distributor of replacement automotive parts in the U.S. and a leader in the Canadian market. The Uni-Select network now includes more than 3,500 points-of-sale in North America.

"Uni-Select creates value by expertly managing its supply chain and by driving its sales and marketing organizations to be more market and customer driven," said Steve Bujold, director of ASP business solutions for Uni-Select, in the announcement. "By helping us extend our digital marketing strategy to the places where our customers make key purchasing decisions, ScreenScape is a natural fit for us. Our suppliers are very excited by our use of ScreenScape, and so are we."

ScreenScape is a software service that simplifies the process of creating digital media and presenting it to customer's retail stores. It is used by thousands of businesses across Canada including car dealerships, automotive service centres, parts stores and various community venues.

ScreenScape President Kevin Dwyer said his firm has been making inroads in the automotive industry over the past year.

"By sharing the same infrastructure for retail marketing these industry giants are opening up new efficiencies and new opportunities for rich collaboration that is truly customer-centric," he said.
