MediaTile announced late last week that it is has gained support for its public service announcement network service, PSACASTNG.ORG, from companies such as PRN, Reflect Systems, and SeeSaw Networks. The PSACASTING.ORG Web site is now accepting early sign-ups, and will be functional by Sept. 21, concurrent with Advertising Week in New York, on Sept. 21-25, 2009.
In May, MediaTile and The Advertising Council announced a partnership to provide a free, new service for network operators to easily add public service advertisements (PSAs) to their digital signage programming schedules. PSACASTING.ORG provides royalty-free access to a library of PSAs, previously available only to traditional media networks.
"We are thrilled with the level of interest PSAcasting is receiving from industry leaders and are looking forward to the official launch of the program this fall," said Tim Davis, executive vice president of media, The Advertising Council. "With PSAcasting in place, we will have a highly automated and efficient means to bring our public service advertisements to the millions of monthly viewers of digital out of home networks."
