150 QSRs ordering up digital signage TV network

A QSR franchise group has signed an agreement with Mood Media to deploy Mood TV, the company's new in-store private television network, according to an announcement from Mood Media.

According to the announcement, the agreement also extends its services for music and drive-thru maintenance for the franchisee's more than 150 locations.

Mood TV is content-rich and customizable, combining attributes of digital signage with short-form broadcast television programming designed and adapted for the commercial environment, the company said. The solution offers access to a library of content from major television networks such as ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX, A&E and more, the release said.

Clients also use the system to promote job openings, share information about community events, and schedule employee-facing content during off hours.

"Clients can essentially design and control their own private local television network, entertaining guests with popular television programming, showcasing branded content to target promotional items, and sharing information that ultimately creates a more personal and hyper-local experience," David Van Epps, Mood Media's global chief product officer, said in the press release.

Content is managed and scheduled through a Web-based platform. Mood currently serves more than 50,000 QSR locations.
