Digital signage is one of the most powerful, cost-effective communications tools available, but because today's consumers are constantly bombarded with messages, they've become more discriminating about their exposure to commercial messages.     Correct. However, Dayparting is an old concept on DS, regardless if new software providers (or old ones) are now introducing it into their solutions.

    The issue goes deeper on DS software coding and how their systems will be able to integrate independent Dayparting into MindSetting Dayparting along with TimeSlots and Virtual Timeslots.
    Meaning, Depending on where the screen is located, the dayparting for the correct impact (that the customer wants) may vary on the time of the day.
    Thus, Midnset dayparting will be a basic concept that will drive database builders nuts and buyers crazy for more.
    Virtual Timeslots (not physical) will match on future dayparting for grouping time algorithms so that the client will actually get what he pays for, always based on the "reader" mindset and not just a time of day.
    Audit not what the player showed, but audit what the scheduler requested with what the player actually did, alternate with mindsetting dayparting and virtual timeslots and present to client.
