International Display Advertising Inc. announced today that Display Points and International Display Advertising have signed an exclusive agreement with Aerva Inc. to provide network management services for the Display Points digital signage network worldwide.
The Aerva management platform gives the network the ability to scale worldwide, the company said. Display Points will utilize AerWave, Aerva's Web-based platform for managing and scheduling content on networked displays, with integration for social media, real-time data feeds and mobile interactivity. Aerva's software features robust content management, easy scheduling and a powerful network operations system that is served from Aerva's cloud services, the company said.
Aerva powers digital signage worldwide and most recently concluded the "Beats by Dre" campaign in Times Square. The campaign ran throughout Times Square for a full day, allowing passersby a chance to get their photo taken with the hip headphones and then shown on all sides of the famous landmark via multiple digital billboards.
"We are very pleased with the intuitive nature and the ease of use of the Aerva management systems and the ability to scale from one to 1 million screens," International Display Advertising President Dave Hazzard said in the announcement. "This in effect provides IDAD with a worldwide reach to fully service every restaurant and bar table with the same complete quality of content anywhere on the globe."
