Technology company 3M will demonstrate its multitouch solutions at international computer expo CeBIT 2013 by exhibiting a projected-capacitive multitouch concept table and interactive display configurations, the company said in an announcement.
Highlights include a 46-inch collaborative multitouch table for brand experience and assisted-selling environments and a 55-inch multitouch prototype display vertically mounted for ultra-large format product selector and customer interaction applications.
The new product concepts are intended for brand owners and marketing teams in markets such as retail, hospitality and banking, the announcement said. Featuring an ultra-fast response time for up to 60 simultaneous touches, both displays offer a smartphone- and tablet-like user interface that customers are familiar with and have come to expect, the company said.
Also on the stand will be 15-inch, 17-inch and 19-inch dual-touch chassis display models from 3M, specifically designed for kiosk and enclosure integration. Visitors also will see the 21.5-inch and 27-inch plug-and-play Multi-Touch Desktop Displays from 3M, offering high-definition graphics, wide viewing angles and sleek product design.
The CeBIT international trade fair will be held March 5-9 in Hannover, Germany.
