Swiss digital signage software provider Navori is featuring several new solutions at ISE 2013 in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, according to a company announcement.
First, the NAVORI QL Player is now available on Android, the company said. This newest player core has the same playback quality and functionality as the Windows version, offering a seamless 1080p TV look and feel with multilayer function on all Android appliances, according to Navori. Also, the NAVORI QL Hybrid Signage Server version 1.0.0.24 allows for a transparent content management of both Windows and Android players. NAVORI QL Server offers full load balancing to ensure scalability at the lowest bandwidth use.
And the NAVORI QL Digital Signage player is on the move, the company said. For the automotive and transportation markets NAVORI developed a plug-in allowing users to retrieve a GPS input to trigger content relevant to the geographical position of the player.
Also, an add on is available for the hotels and convention center markets that integrates the leading MICROS Fidelio Opera meeting room-management system with NAVORI QL, enabling real-time booking and wayfinding information to be displayed from entrance to venue.
SDKs are available for server and player modules to ensure a working end-to-end integration with any third-party process, program or back office system, the company said. Applications range from interactive and parametric play-out to coupling players to building systems to launch alert and evacuation messages in case of an incident.
