Autostereoscopic, "glasses-free" 3D digital signage solutions provider Magnetic 3D is showcasing its solutions in the Avnet booth at this year's National Retail Federation Convention and Expo, Retail's BIG Show, this week in New York City.
Magnetic 3D said it will be featuring its latest in glasses-free 3D retail digital signage and quick-service restaurant solutions. Magnetic 3D's proprietary Enabl3D technology modifies flat panel displays, enabling them to show high-definition 3D video content without the need for special eyewear.
"Our autostereoscopic technology acts as a virtual stop sign for passersby and has been proven to provide retailers with tremendous lift in both sales and measured customer engagement," said Michael Dorin, VP of business development and operations at Magnetic 3D. Through its partnership and integration with Dynasign's content management service platform for digital signage, Magnetic 3D will also be exhibiting its glasses-free 3D solutions for QSRs. The company will demonstrate glasses-free 3D digital menu boards and real-time applications that it says offer QSRs a unique upgrade to their infrastructure while appealing to today's technologically-advanced consumers.
