Ljubljana, Slovenia-based Infinitus announced it is expanding its imotion full outdoor, all-in-one LCD system portfolio intended for high-brightness sun-exposed locations.
The first wall-mount unit is the imotion 46-inch landscape wall mount, which has all the standard imotion outdoor LCD technology features, the company said. The inner system enclosure temperatures are always in "room temperature" range, the company said, if placed in any environment between -40â° C to +55â° C. The system also is sealed against humidity and dust, to guarantee long lifetimes and minimal downtimes; the unit will be officially launched at ISE 2013 in January.
The imotion 46-inch landscape wall-mount has an integrated by default 1,500 nit brightness/4000:1 contrast ratio professional Samsung LCD panel, control electronics and a powerful bespoke HVAC-based thermal management system. For "supreme" sun readability and extended system lifetime, a Dynascan ultra-high-bright LCD panel with 3,000 nits of brightness and a 10,000:1 contrast ratio upgrade is available, the company said.
There also are numerous add-on features available, ranging from basic touchscreen interactivity to cameras to Wi-Fi hot spot capabilities, NFC modules and more.
