AmpliVox Sound Systems and AVTEQ Inc. recently announced that the companies have collaborated in supplying AVTEQ digital signage media carts with AmpliVox speakers. This partnership complements AVTEQ's line of video conference support furniture with integrated audio sound by AmpliVox, according to the announcement.
The AVTEQ/AmpliVox partnership simplifies the purchase process for business customers who use AVTEQ furniture in a wide range of conference room, office, and other video conference settings. AmpliVox's Line Array speaker system is designed to fit perfectly into rack mounts like those included in AVTEQ systems.
"We created the Line Array speaker for versatile functionality with a mount system that would connect easily to other components and furniture pieces," AmpliVox CEO Don Roth said in the announcement. "AVTEQ's carts provide a seamless application for our speakers. It's a very straightforward match of form and function."
"AVTEQ was very happy to find a true rack mounted speaker solution in a 2RU form," said Aaron Rubner, AVTEQ director of sales. "The AmpliVox Line Array performs perfectly in the video conferencing cart solutions we offer. This will continue to allow our dealer base to provide their customers with a complete solution."
AmpliVox speakers will be available with a wide range of AVTEQ products, including the RPS line of LCD/Plasma carts.
