Sharp Electronics Corp. recently launched a "Turn-Key Digital Signage Package" which includes access to EnGage from global multichannel message management company ComQi. The package also includes Sharp commercial display products and related hardware components as well as a content starter pack for faster implementation.
The digital signage package is designed to meet the needs of small and mid-size organizations, especially for corporate, education, government, health care, hospitality and house of worship settings, according to the announcement from ComQi. The offering also is intended to be simple to order, install and use, the companies said. All the components required are provided as a packaged solution to address the needs of clients seeking help with in-venue marketing, corporate communications, merchandizing and digital menu boards. The packages will be delivered through Sharp Business Systems, located throughout the U.S.
"We are thrilled about this package and the benefits it will deliver to the end-user community wanting to adopt digital signage," said ComQi President Americas Stuart Armstrong, in the announcement. "The Sharp solution is truly turnkey and will be promoted and supported by Sharp digital signage experts located throughout the United States. Literally, an end-user can order a system today and have it installed and supported with content within days."
Mike Marusic, senior vice president of sales at Sharp Electronics Corpor. said in the announcement that the "Digital Signage Package is a great tool for small and medium business to start using digital signage. These clients get all of the benefits of ComQi's services that until now have only been available to large companies."
The full package solution includes:
- Large-format Sharp professional LCD display
- Digital signage media player
- A wall mount from Peerless-AV
- EnGage hosted content management software service (SaaS) from ComQi Inc.
ComQi said it is working to continue strengthening its relationship with display partners through its content management software platform, EnGage, which it has designed to be an advanced but easy-to-use content management, scheduling and publishing system for digital signage networks. Access to EnGage is entirely Web-based and enables users to create, manage and measure highly-targeted digital signage networks with minimal strain on time, resources or budgets, the company said.
