Athens, Greece-based CyberStream's DSplay digital signage software by CyberStream is being deployed at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education of Lebanon as part of a donation by Lebanon's Hariri Foundation of a complete digital signage system for smoothing everyday operations and internal communications, according to a company release.
The Hariri Foundation is a non-profit organization founded by former Prime Minister Rafic Hariri, with a mission "to contribute to the process of raising a new generation of highly skilled young adults." To achieve this it allocates funds to academic institutes for investing in modern infrastructure as well as in rich and influential communication channels, the company said.
The Hariri Foundation selected DSplay as part of the implementation of a complete digital signage platform running on the Ministry's premises: a "digital signage system powered by DSplay software and Cisco Systems equipment formulates a solution that enhances immediate and targeted communication of visually appealing messages to the intended recipients."
The Ministry of Education in Lebanon is now able to communicate messaging to both the general public and its staff. For example, key announcements about upcoming educational events or scholarship programs are now pushed out via the digital signage platform.
"We were very pleased to find out that DSplay multipurpose/usage features and their smooth operability with digital signage initiated great changes to our ministry," said Tarek Shal, program director-education development at the Hariri Foundation, in the announcement. "It makes us to feel that our ministry is always alive."
