The Planar Mosaic architectural video wall was chosen by Commercial Integrator magazine, to join an exclusive group of products deemed the most noteworthy at InfoComm 2012 with its BEST (Best Electronics Systems Technologies) Award. Planar Mosaic was also awarded Best New Video Wall Product by AV Technology magazine, an award that honors end-users and AV innovation. According to AV Technology judges, Planar’s Mosaic product is innovative and beautiful, re-inventing the wall from displaying art, to being art.

Introduced in February 2012, the Planar Mosaic architectural video wall system empowers designers to integrate LCD tiles of three sizes, including a true-square LCD tile, measuring 21.6 inches diagonally. Utilizing proprietary Mosaic Ensemble ™ software and hardware, the tiles can be rotated at virtually any angle and mounted in any position. Video or images can be displayed across the entire tile array, encouraging designers to experiment with negative space while extending project budgets. Planar also announced the availability of Planar Mosaic Project Designer™. Developed in conjunction with the Planar® Mosaic™ video wall system, this free, online application lets users create individualized designs for the recently introduced architectural video wall system.
