Two new online training courses are being offered by AV mounting solutions provider Chief. The new courses, Automated Classroom and Elite Home Theater, will be a part of the company's Certified Partner Program.
Chief's Certified Partner Program is intended to help dealers and installers differentiate themselves from competitors. Coursework includes programs on improving business results as well as improving overall mount and rack product knowledge, the company said.
"At Chief, it’s our ongoing goal to provide industry leading tools for our partners to be even more successful," said Douglas Bauernschmidt, Chief’s instructional design manager.
Bauernschmidt said Chief recognizes the importance of developing new certification modules and services to keep dealers and installers updated on Chief’s new products and the best way to install them. He said the company believes that with continued knowledge of mount and rack solutions, its customers can speed up the sale and installation of Chief's products and learn more about products that can solve their project challenges.
According to the announcement of the new courses, the Automated Classroom Training course will help attendees understand the number of solutions available for classroom environments. The course will focus on the Interactive Short Throw Projector Mount, Kontour Monitor Arms and the SL220 Automated Projector Lift.
The Elite Home Theater course will look at solutions for high-end home theater installations such as the PXR Automated Swing Arm Wall Mount, Raxxess E1 Enclosed Racks, and the Thinstall Series of Ultra-thin Swing Arm Wall Mounts and accessories.
Both courses offer two tracks, Product and Install, which are accredited by InfoComm for 0.5 CTS RUs and by CEDIA for 0.5 CEUs. The additional credits bring the total for the entire Certification program up to 13.5 CTS RUs and 8.5 CEDIA CEUs.
