NEW YORK, NY – August 10, 2011 – Magnetic 3D, the global leader in autostereoscopic glasses-free 3D displays and digital signage solutions, today announced the engagement of Michael Dorin as Vice-President of Business Development and Operations.
Mr. Dorin joins Magnetic 3D with a diverse and proven background in innovative technology and business development. Having formal credentials in Astronomy, Mr. Dorin held a long career as the Director of Sales and Marketing at a private company that specialized in optical and electro-optical spectroscopic instrumentation. Prior to this, Mr. Dorin worked at a hedge fund in Paris, France, where he also engaged in a number of successful entrepreneurial activities. Mr. Dorinʼs position at Magnetic 3D builds on a recent technical consulting practice where he engineered complex, custom IT solutions while also providing game-changing marketing and business development services.

Mr. Dorin will be involved in various aspects of Magnetic 3Dʼs corporate development including gathering and maintaining market intelligence, designing and implementing business development strategies, building brand awareness, establishing and developing strategic alliances and joint ventures, negotiating technology licensing agreements, working with investors, and streamlining operations for maximum efficiency and effectiveness. Mr.Dorin will also lend his expertise in photonics to help further advance Magnetic 3D's innovative technology.
