Audiovisual distributor Almo Professional A/V, in partnership with InfoComm International, recently announced the last chance to register for what it expects to be its largest E4 AV networking and training event to date, scheduled for Dec. 15 in New York City.
Additionally, Almo announced that the first stop on the 2011 E4 tour schedule is confirmed for San Francisco on April 6.
"We are expecting well over 500 partners next week for what is also our one-year celebration of the E4 program," said Sam Taylor, executive vice president and COO for Almo Professional A/V. "While the content has been refined, our goal for this tour has remained the same – to bring partners educational opportunities that help them advance while providing a free and local forum to network and spend quality time with representatives from the biggest brand names in the business. Following this event, we estimate that E4 will have served more than 2,000 partners who will have earned nearly 1,000 InfoComm CTS renewal units."
Taylor added that next year's San Francisco tour will include a fully updated training schedule that focuses on audio, security and other trends, particularly those that tie into topics of interest at the InfoComm 2011 show set to take place in Orlando next June.
The New York E4 event includes a full day of training that will begin with a special address from Randy Lemke, executive director of InfoComm International, entitled "The AV Industry — Moving Forward."
Almo Pro A/V's newest distribution vendor, ZeeVee Inc, developer of HD distribution products, will exhibit and provide a brand new training session. New products will also be announced by Panasonic, CablesToGo, Premier Mounts and more, Almo said. At the same time, training sessions worth a total of 6.5 InfoComm CTS renewal units, more than $5,000 in prizes, and complimentary breakfast and lunch will also be available to attending resellers, consultants and integrators.
The E4 AV program can be accessed on demand during and after each event for instructor videos, copies of the course presentations, video product reviews and live Twitter updates. Video comments from past participating vendors, presenters and attendees also can be viewed here.
